The short version: KeeKom has no accounts, no ads, no tracking, and does not store what you type. Typing is processed on your device. If you turn on cloud translation, only the sentence being translated is sent over an encrypted connection, then immediately discarded.

Text you type with the KeeKom keyboard is processed on your device to convert romaji and suggest kanji, emoji, and translations. It is not stored beyond your typing session. Your personal dictionary, saved phrases, and settings live only on your device.

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Purchases can be restored through Apple on any of your devices.
